BitMart, CertiK, and Theirsverse jointly host first ever Web3 Gallery
History was made on August 12, as the first-ever Web3 gallery would unveil a multitude of collections, including the initial offerings from BitMart’s growing NFT marketplace.
Partnering with CertiK and Theirsverse, BitMart was elated to sponsor the event in the center of the financial and art universe, New York City’s Fifth Avenue, only minutes away from Central Park and some of the most elite boutiques and stores in the world.
With unique giveaways, such as the opportunity to “touch grass” or utilize one of the only hologram machines available on the planet, a select group of VIPs, tastemakers, and creators were invited to this Friday night affair, where wine and conversation poured throughout the first-of-it’s-kind Web3 gallery.
Taking center stage were not only the rare NFT art frames that held the gallery’s offerings but the public unveiling of the Theirsverse collection of NFTs, developed by NFT artists/NYU Tisch student, Hyphen.
With a focus on creating a genderfluid collection that highlights a cross-section of humanity within the 21st century, Hyphen, the son of famous singer, host, and actress Annie Yi, who acts as not only the co-founder of the Theirseverse project but also the project’s Art director, wants to utilize Theirsverse as a way to reinforce the fact that “humans aren’t defined by how they look, but by their stories.”
Onlookers would gaze through the large glass windows that showcase these projects to millions of eyes a day, hopefully leading to these pieces of non-fungible art becoming a part of these human stories as parts of their collection and ability of self-expression.
BitMart representatives and guests were elated with the night’s festivities, as the sounds of the city would be joined by a great playlist of modern and classic hip hop and inquisitive conversation surrounding the various digital pieces on display inside the gallery.
